PuppetDB is installed on a PostgreSQL instance, and can generally be managed the same as any PostgreSQL server. We do have a few configuration options that can help tune your PostgreSQL PuppetDB instance to your environment:
- Deactivate and purge nodes
- Tune max heap size
- Tune threads
