We have to realize that intelligence, success, and joy do not just “happen.” They are not static, tangible things we receive when we cross some perceived finish line, whether this finish line is a new house, a better paycheck, or a five-star holiday in Bali. True happiness and true success come from striving for perfection in the “now” moments of life and enjoying the process of discovering who we are and why we are here. It’s a journey, not just a destination.
