Our minds are creative forces to be reckoned with and are to be used in the best ways possible. We have to constantly watch our thoughts, put on our new selves, and make sure we use our image-bearing “loveness” in positive ways. We need to ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom, “new knowledge,” that will enable us to renew our minds and change the way we live.
We need to reflect the image of a loving God, not a broken world order. What we choose to do with our minds—our thinking, feeling, and choosing—will bring heaven or hell to earth.
