Day 221

Every creation of God, you see, is good.—1 Timothy 4:4

Brainy Tip: The brain is designed to reflect the glory of God.

God’s order is clearly reflected in the organization of the brain. God has designed the brain to work in a series of coordinated networks—his creation is always “good.” The scientific expression for this is “integrative functional organization,” which basically means that all parts of the brain are connected, work together, and impact each other, just as all the parts of the kingdom are designed to work for the glory of God. But this only happens when we think correctly in “loveness” (there’s that weird word again)! “Loveness” is thinking God’s thoughts after him. It is about embracing the goodness of creation that is inside you and reflecting this goodness into the world. What does love look like in your life?
