Tana keeps saying Dad’s gone all the time but it kind of seems like she’s gone all the time too. Not at dinner, but after dinner and after school and on the weekends when we’re having our breakfast. She’s always in our room, which doesn’t even seem like our room anymore because if Polly and I make any sound at all, she tells us to go somewhere else. Maybe Tana’s the one who hates us all. I really hope not, though, because then it would just be me, Mom, and Polly left. Or maybe just me and Polly, because sometimes when Mom’s studying it kind of seems like she’s gone too.
