Glossary

Most Thai words are written phonetically but do not follow traditional English spellings. This is intended to help with the pronunciation. Diphthongs -ph (-f as in phone) and -th (-th as in the) also do not exist in Thai, and each letter is articulated. However, -ch is pronounced like -ch in chess or chase.
