ABOUT THE ARTIST

An artist from childhood, Martin Campbell’s work reflects scenes of his daily life and Heiltsuk culture. “I have been lucky to spend years of my life down at Kvai River watching grizzly bears at my doorstep. I understand why the grizzly bear is an important symbol in Heiltsuk society.”
