The Photograph

I stroke the scalloped edges of the black and white photo from a Brownie flash camera. A glue-backed piece of paper is stuck across her face. But I know she is wearing rhinestone cat’s eyeglasses and a white, sleeveless dress. Because I still remember our first kiss.
