Granny’s Last Day
On Monday evening, Granny ironed Pawpaw’s striped pajamas.
“What are you doing, dear? You don’t feel well; go upstairs.”
“I’m not letting my husband go to bed with wrinkled clothes. I’ll iron, if it’s the last thing I do!” Tuesday night, Papaw’s pajamas matched his skin.
