Rows 3–12: Rep row 2.
Row 13 (RS): Ch 1, sc in each of first 11 sts, pc (see Special Stitches) in next st, [sc in each of next 19 sts, pc in next st] 7 times, sc in each of last 11 sts, turn.

Rows 15–62: Ch 1, work pattern across according to chart (see chart), sc in each st across, turn.

Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 1, evenly sp sc around entire outer edge, working 3 sc in each corner st, join (see Pattern Note) in beg sc.
