Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Makes 4 servings

8 chicken drumsticks, skinned

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup dark beer or apple cider

1. Place the drumsticks, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chili powder, cumin, salt, and beer or cider in a resealable plastic storage bag. Shake well. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or up to 24 hours, turning occasionally.

2. Preheat the grill. Remove the drumsticks from the bag; reserve the marinade. Place the drumsticks on a plate and lightly coat with cooking spray. Grill for 20 minutes, or until a thermometer inserted in the thickest portion reads 170°F and the juices run clear, turning occasionally and basting with the reserved marinade.
