During the middle of the Twentieth Century, two charming “sixty-ish” Hostesses at Brookgreen Gardens—the lovely sculpture park created from four historic rice plantations in the South Carolina Lowcountry near Myrtle Beach—told these stories. I hope you enjoy these tales from “Cousin Corrie” Dusenbury and “Miss Genevieve” Wilcox Chandler as much as I did.
