Our Motto, Our Guide, Our Mantra, Our Goal
Our motto is the Sanskrit neti neti—“not this, not that.” Truth can’t be packaged into any religion, -ism, or ideology. Truth is simply reality as it is in this and every moment. A packaged truth is at least once removed from the actual Truth.
Our guide is Lao Tzu, the sixth-century Chinese poet, who wrote, “The tao that can be named is not the eternal Tao” (Tao Te Ching 1:1). The God that can be branded is not the eternal God. The religion that can be packaged is not the eternal religion. The theology that can be imagined is not the eternal theology.
Our mantra is the Kalama Sutra: “Believe nothing because a wise person said it. Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be Divine. Believe nothing because others believe it. Believe only what you yourself judge to be true.”
In a world that really has been turned on its head, truth is a moment of falsehood.

And then question even that.
Our goal is to be “a blessing to all the families of the earth” (Genesis 12:3) by helping you know yourself and all beings as manifestings of God (however named).
