It’s All about Me

Both phases of Life One are all about “me,” the self you take yourself to be when you’re trapped in the illusion of being apart from the Happening that is happening as all happening rather than realizing that you’re a happening of the Happening happening.

This illusion can be very subtle, and lots of us enamored with Life One, Phase Two are convinced that we are beyond the self, that we have dropped the “me” and now rest in the infinite I’ing of God.

Chances are anyone who confesses to being enlightened is lying—to you, to themselves, and most likely both.

What makes enlightened people seem special is that they are so very ordinary, while all the rest of us are desperately trying to be anything but.
