Relativism
Relativism is the notion that all beliefs are culturally biased constructs rather than independent and absolute truths. In the minds of many, however, relativism has come to mean that all beliefs are equal and that none is better or more true than any other.
We use relativism in its original meaning: while it is true that all beliefs are culturally conditioned, it is not true that all beliefs are equally valid, viable, or worth believing. Beliefs that close minds, harden hearts, and tighten fists are to be challenged and rejected. Those that open minds, soften hearts, and unclench fists are worthy of celebration.
