COELACANTH

The coelacanth, being a fish, is not a dinosaur. But it is an example of an animal that not only existed during the time of the dinosaurs, but is still living today, 65 million years later! It is a deep-water fish that remained hidden in the depths until it was rediscovered by modern scientists in 1938.
