Bob Dylan is hands down considered one of the greatest singer/songwriters of his generation, if not all time. His lyrics range from the poetic to the political, and his artistic integrity is second to none. Which is what makes this next set of documents all the more shocking. I found some old lyric journals, and it would appear that Dylan either did some work or thought about doing some work for various advertising campaigns, for both smaller local businesses and bigger national chains. These documents provide some answers that I wish I hadn’t found blowin’ in the wind. Sad.
