Enchanted wallet spell

TOOLS 1 tea light candle | 1 incense stick | Lighter or matches | 1 bowl of sun water (see tip) | 1 bowl of soil | Your wallet or purse | Pen

INGREDIENTS 1 bay leaf

Your wallet or purse both represent and symbolize money and prosperity. This spell enchants your wallet so it attracts more money, while also keeping you from spending too much.

Ground and center yourself, and cast a circle. Cleanse your tools and the bay leaf by rubbing your hands together until warm, then holding them over the bay leaf and saying:

May these ingredients be cleansed and blessed.

Light the candle and the incense. Place each elemental tool—the bowl of water, the soil, the candle, and the incense—in a circle, located in the appropriate cardinal direction (see below), depending on your location (you can use your phone’s compass to work those out)—the bowl of sun water (representing the element of water) to the west, the soil (representing the element of earth) to the north, the candle (representing fire) to the south, and the incense (representing air) to the east. Now take your wallet or purse, hold it over the bowl of soil, then over the incense, the candle, and the bowl of water, visualizing the elemental properties of each of these tools permeating it (see elemental correspondences). As you do this, be sure to thank each element for its blessings.

Finally, place your wallet in the center of your circle of tools, take the bay leaf and draw your money sigil on it with the pen. Then tuck the bay leaf into your wallet, where it should be kept. When finished, open the circle.
