Start by casting a circle and grounding and centering, and cleansing your altar space and the tools. Grind together the coffee, the rose petals, and the honeysuckle in a clockwise motion until they are a fine powder. Then set up the plate on your altar. Using the maple syrup, create a spiral going down the candle. Use the spoon to cover the candle in the ground herbs—they should stick to the syrup-covered candle easily. Now stick the candle to the plate and wipe your hands. Light your candle and say the words:
As I light this candle, I open myself to divine, healthy, romantic love, filled with happiness and support. May this candle be a beacon in the dark to the person that is right for me, so we may find each other quickly. So mote it be.
Visualize romantic love coming to you while the candle is burning out. Then open the circle, collect the remaining wax, and bury it.
