Seeing the truth

Sometimes you may wonder what the truth was in an argument or even just a mundane situation, and you feel the need to see clearly. This spell is excellent for that.
Start by casting a circle and grounding and centering as well as cleansing the tools. Light the tea light candle and sit in meditation, focusing on the situation that you would like to see more clearly and learn the truth from. When the tea light candle has completely melted, take your bowl of water and pour the wax directly into the water, holding it a little way above the surface, while saying the words:
By water and flame, clear away all doubt and fog, let me see the truth, let me see clearly and honestly, so mote it be.
Look at the wax in the water and identify any shapes or symbols that could help you understand the situation more clearly. A good tip to identifying symbols is to refer to a dream book—though the best guide is your intuition.

Take a Clear Quartz crystal into both hands. Close your eyes, and ground and center, visualizing an energy circuit between you and the crystal, calming you. Say the words:
