¼ cup soju
¼ cup honey
⅛ teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons peanuts, chopped
Ginger Honey Syrup
1 cup of rice syrup
1 cup honey
2 cup of water
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
Instructions
At 250 degrees F, preheat your oven. Mix the flour with baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a suitable bowl. Stir in the sesame oil, and then mix well. Mix the soju with honey in another bowl, and then pour into the flour mixture. Roll the dough into a ball and divide it into half. Spread each half into ¼ inch thick rectangle. Meanwhile, mix the honey, water, and rice syrup in a saucepan. Cook for 1 minute, then add ginger and mix
well. Increase the oven’s temperature to 300 degrees F and continue baking for another 10 minutes. Then raise the temperature to 350 degrees F, and then cook for 8 minutes. Drizzle the syrup and peanuts over the Yagkwa. Serve.
