  2. Method Acting

    Method acting refers to a set of techniques that actors use to prepare for roles. In Method acting, actors attempt to identify the specific roles that they portray with real or imagined experiences from their own lives. When a Method actor attempts to authentically portray a character in a certain situation, he first asks himself what would cause him to behave in that way, or how he would behave in that situation if it really happened to him. By thinking in terms of actual, lived experiences, Method actors attempt to create performances that are more true to life.
