Cassandra Golds was born in Sydney and grew up reading Hans Christian Andersen, C. S. Lewis, and Nicholas Stuart Gray. She is the author of The Three Loves of Persimmon, which won the 2011 Victorian Premier’s Literary Award and was shortlisted for the Prime Minister’s Literary Award, New South Wales Premier’s Literary Award and Western Australian Premier’s Literary Award. She is also the author of The Mostly True Story of Matthew and Trim, Clair-de-Lune and The Museum of Mary Child.
