Further reading

I’ve tried my damnedest to be as inclusive as I could in this volume, but I am aware that there are names that have been missed, principally for demands of space. But that’s not the only reason I would recommend the reader to buy two further books, which complement this study perfectly: Tartan Noir by Len Wanner (Freight Books) and Crime Scene: Britain and Ireland by John Martin (Five Leaves Publications). Apart from being authoritative and comprehensive resources, both are written in accessible style, covering many of the same writers I’ve included, but also others.
