Configuration database

This database stores the metadata of Dynamics 365 CE. This database is created at the time of setting up a Dynamics 365 CE environment. For example, if you are installing Dynamics 365 CE on-premise, this database will be created with the Dynamics 365 CE organization database. However, if a new organization is created using the Deployment Manager, it won't create a configuration database again; instead, it will reuse an existing configuration database. This database will be created with the name MSCRM_Config.
