Enjoying each meal, no matter how big or small, and taking time to be grateful for what you prepare for those you love, is Zen. Nourishment—vital to maintaining health—is a means of honoring the body. Precooked packaged foods containing additives are an insult to the body, as poisons, whose harmful effects may not be seen immediately, contaminate the body’s energy and block its ability to function at its best.
