Ponche Crema

This is a CuraƧaoan version of a classic holiday drink consumed in much of the Caribbean region. It is their version of eggnog and is so popular that it is now bottled and sold all year-round.

makes 4 to 6 drinks

One 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk

8 ounces aged rum

4 egg yolks, beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Combine all of the ingredients in the jar of a blender and process. Pour into a sterilized jar, seal, and keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
