Vanilla Glaze

I pour this glaze over Buttery Almond Breakfast Pastry while the pastry is still warm to create a crisp, sweet crust. And be sure to drizzle it over the Lemon-Blueberry Loaf to elevate the flavor and texture.

Makes ¼ cup (71 milliliters)

1 In a small bowl, whisk together the confectioners’ sugar and vanilla until smooth. If you would like the glaze a little thinner, add the milk.

2 Use immediately, or store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.

Feel free to get creative and add food coloring or different flavorings to the glaze.
