B arbara Abercrombie has published novels and nonfiction for adults and picture books for children, including the award-winning Charlie Anderson. Her essays and articles have appeared in national publications as well as in many anthologies. Her most recent book is Courage & Craft: Writing Your Life into Story. She teaches creative writing at UCLA Extension and lives in Santa Monica, California, and Twin Bridges, Montana, with her husband and rescue dog, Nelson.
