on our coffee table. JerRic plopped down on the couch and took a bite of his sandwich. He put his feet on the corner of the coffee table that wasn't being used.

“What are you doing?” JerRic pointed at the map with his free hand.

“I was just trying to find a decent place to ski.” I circled around the map with my finger.

“Ski? That's right. You said you liked that kind of thing.” JerRic removed his feet from the coffee table and leaned forward. “What about there?” He tapped the map.

“Those little hills?” I was skeptical.

“Trust me.” JerRic put the last bite in his mouth.

“Want to go skiing?” I smiled.

JerRic took my hand. “Sure, Beth.” He kissed my hand and stared at me with his attractive face.

I leaned in and gave him a light kiss on his lips. “Ready?”

JerRic touched his necklace, and he was standing in warm clothes. I did the same. A large smile covered JerRic's face as he stood up.

“Just so you know, I haven't done this before.” My husband made a face.

I laughed. “I gotcha covered.” That's what he usually said to me.
