sure I rolled into the wall. My bed isn't against the wall. My eyes flew open. I was staring at JerRic. His mouth was half open on his pillow.
I smiled and stretched. I closed my eyes and let the day before sink in. I was married to JerRic Write, and we were stuck in some old-time village named Angeline.
Mom. I sighed. I hoped she would understand all this. JerRic assured me that Maddy and Peter would understand. I hoped that he was right.
I opened my eyes and studied my husband. I touched JerRic's arm. He instinctively put his arm around me and tucked me in with a steel-grip.
I didn't mind. It gave me time to think. JerRic was kind of cute when he was sleeping. I brushed his hair out of his eyes. My hand stayed on his cheek a moment. I took it back. He said he loved me.
JerRic's eyes opened. “Hey.” A smile crossed his lips.
“Good morning, sleepyhead.” I smiled.
JerRic moved over slightly and laid his head next to my shoulder. His eyes looked up at me with pure love. Mom had been right when she commented on the pictures from the fair.
I brushed his hair out of his eyes. He usually had it styled. I kissed his forehead.
“I like waking up like this.” JerRic smiled.
“Me too.” I admitted.
“We should do something fun today.” He propped himself up on his elbow.
“What did you have in mind?” I scooted closer.
“It depends if you are brave or not.” JerRic's eyes were playful.
“I married you. I'm pretty sure that makes me brave.” I smirked.
JerRic laughed. “I would call that an intelligent move on your part. I'm a catch.” He grinned.
I laughed and got out of bed.
“Where are you going?” JerRic's disposition dropped.
“Bathroom. Breakfast.” I grinned.
“Breakfast sounds good.” JerRic yawned and stretched.
I was still chuckling as I entered the bathroom.
