and I were home with every part of the Quest completed except the Eternal Ruby.
“We're staying a few more weeks.” Zane told JerRic. “We should do dinner before we go.”
“Yeah.” My husband nodded.
“Love you.” Zane hugged him.
“Love you.” JerRic hugged him back. “And my favorite sister-n-law.” JerRic smiled and opened his arms for Zamfira. She stepped in. “Love you, sis.”
“I love you too, JerRic.” Zamfira smiled. She turned to me. “Nice to meet you.”
We shared a quick hug.
“You too.” I smiled.
Zane and Zamfira disappeared. JerRic and I walked inside. My husband shut the door behind us.
“Your family is super nice.” I commented.
“They can be.” JerRic laughed. “I'm glad you had fun.”
“I did.” I emptied my pockets on the kitchen table. “What are we going to do with all of these?”
“That's a good question.” JerRic put his hand on his hip. “You're the artist. I have faith in you.”
I laughed. “Thanks, Babe.” I walked around the table and rubbed my necklace. They were framed and hanging on the wall.
“See, I told ya.” JerRic smirked.
I laughed.
