doing here?” JerRic marched off.
The dark-haired man turned around. He was wearing a smirk. A beautiful woman walked up to them and uncovered her head, revealing almost black curls cascading down her back.
“Zamfira is here too?” JerRic's jaw fell open.
I walked over carefully, wondering what was going on.
“Hello, I'm Zane Write.” The man stuck out his hand. “I'm JerRic's older, more attractive brother.” He flashed a smile at JerRic. “This is my wife, Zamfira.” He pointed to the woman beside of him.
I took his hand. “It's a pleasure. I'm Annabeth.” I examined my husband, who was wearing a scowl.
“We know.” Zamfira smiled. “It was a lovely wedding.”
“You were at the wedding?” JerRic was visibly surprised.
“Yeah.” Zane nodded. “Z knows when a Storyteller comes to Angeline. She loves weddings.” He smiled at his wife.
“I really do.” She giggled. “I thought Zane would want to attend yours, so I drug him along.”
“You've been here all this time! How?” JerRic had a hard time containing himself.
“Oh, we have a second home in Dorin.” Zane flashed a slightly superior big brother smile at my husband.
“Dorin?” JerRic shook his head in disbelief.
“I decided to expand Angeline. We thought we would leave it as a surprise.” Zamfira grinned.
JerRic scratched his head.
“Do you guys want to get dinner?” Zane's eyes fell on JerRic and then me.
“Yeah, sure.” JerRic nodded.
“Oh, this should be lovely.” Zamfira touched her necklace, and the scenery vanished.
