morning like every morning so far. I tiptoed out of bed before JerRic could roll over and decide I was a teddy bear.

After going to the bathroom, I rummaged through the cupboards. Hot chocolate was calling my name. I decided to take it out to the front porch and watch the sunrise.

The chill hit me as soon as I opened the door. I rushed to the couch quickly. My hot chocolate sloshed, but stayed in the mug. I made a face at the mug before grabbing the blanket off of the couch. I tiptoed quickly out the door and shut it. I put both my feet up on the bench and covered up my legs before leaning back. It was another perfect day in Angeline.

I smiled and took a sip of my mug. There was a lot to think about. My thoughts were full of JerRic, expressions he made or things he said, and the way he kissed. I brought my feet up underneath me and took another drink.

My thoughts continued flickering through the past few weeks with him and this place. Happiness and peace fell on me. The door opened. I turned my head to see JerRic standing there with his messed up hair. I chuckled.

“I thought I lost you.” JerRic was pitiful.

“I've been here for at least an hour. I could have taken a scenic cruise by now.” I smirked.

JerRic laughed. He turned and went to go back inside.

“Jer?” I rubbed my lips together.

“Yeah?” He turned back around.

“I love you too.” I had a death grip on my mug.

JerRic froze. “What did you say?”

“You heard me.” I smirked.

JerRic crossed the porch. I curled my feet closer. He was smiling at me with a goofy grin.

I bit my lower lip.

“That's the best thing I've heard since we've been in Angeline.” JerRic leaned down and placed a kiss on my lips.

I gave him a bashful smile.

“I love you very much, Mrs. Write.” JerRic grinned.
