MEERABAI

Meerabai was a poet Saint belonging to a dignified family of Rajasthan. From an early age Meerabai felt an irresistible attraction and devotion to Shree Krishna. Meerabai abandoned everything in her quest of devotion to Lord Krishna. She chose the life of simplicity and became a well-known Saint of her time. She demonstrated ideals of fearlessness, grace and steadfastness in the face of severe odds. Her greatest contribution was through her compositions as she was a gifted poet. In a simple, lucid style, she was able to express her deep love for her Lord through hundreds of poems that are sung even today.

EARLY YEARS
