Just as with the tummy tea blends on pages 118–119, having a couple of well thought out dried blends on hand can be just what the herbalist ordered when worries or wakefulness strike. Even the practice of stopping what you’re doing and slowly sipping on a hot tea can be good for the mind and mood, but you can tweak that experience towards your particular wellness goal with just a little herbal know-how. Below are two of my tried and tested favourites—one for when it’s time to wind down and the other for when you need a little more pep in your step.
