Acknowledgments

As with all of the other Whiskey Sisters books, I send out my most thankful appreciation to the great people of Minnesota. I find myself missing the wonderful, welcoming people, the state fair, and the cheese curds. Not missing the snow so much, though!

Thanks to my dear husband, Tom, who puts on dinner, cleans the bathroom and fills the fire ring while I tap away on my laptop with a latte and a marshmallow bar. He makes everything possible.

And to my sister, Vanessa, who never lets me doubt myself. You’re my hero, Sis.

Making a first-time appearance in the acknowledgments is my cousin (and biggest fan) Kathy C., with whom I have only recently reconnected. I’m so grateful for the missing pieces of the past that you share with me, Kathy. I love you.

As always, I owe my love and gratitude to the rest of my incredibly supportive family including my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, not to mention my fabulous in-laws. You know who you are, I’m just too lazy to type out all your names again.

I receive so very much support from my writing friends, Jeannie, Jen, Patty, Nika, Meara, Liz, Vivi, Miranda, Emma and the rest of my local RWA crew. Thank you all.

The words “thank you” seem so paltry when it comes to Stacy Abrams. You are my cheerleader and advocate, my friend and my confidante. And, above all, you make me a better writer.
