Feel-good food

Embracing a supercharged life and eating real food is about far more than just your own personal health. Although this embodiment of wellbeing helps us feel incredible, the best part is that we can have a positive impact on those around us.

When we eat in a healthy, balanced way our cells function optimally. Our body is operating at its peak, we can think clearly, we’re full of energy, and our immune system is robust and able to defend us naturally from a range of minor illnesses that would otherwise slow us down. We have clarity in our thinking and our emotions are much less likely to be unstable. When we eat real food we feel good and we therefore extend joy and kindness into our relationships and other human interactions. We can fulfil our potential and pursue our life’s work, whether that’s parenting, a career, study or simple daily tasks that add up to make our big-picture story on this earth.

I believe that food isn’t a separate or isolated compartment of my life that’s significant only for supplying me with fuel and health. I truly see my choices surrounding food as having a dramatic effect on stewarding this earth and embracing the community around me. When we open our eyes to the power of our food choices and see the impact this daily interaction can have, it can be a soulful and spiritual experience.
