Warming ginger, cardamom and lime tea
{ SERVES 1 }
375 ml (13 fl oz/1½ cups) filtered water
1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger or ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lime zest
1 tablespoon grated lime juice
2 cardamom pods, pounded, or ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
6 drops liquid stevia, or to taste
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, ginger, lemon juice, and lime zest and juice. Bring to the boil, stirring. Remove from the heat and add the cardamom, then cover and allow the tea to steep for 3–4 minutes. Add the stevia and enjoy.
