23:3 Finding Rest “You have six days each week for your ordinary work.” The Genesis command to manage and conserve creation, the fruit of one’s labor, is not to become the end-all of life. “But the seventh day is a Sabbath day of complete rest, an official day for holy assembly.” This is not a restriction but a release for our profit as well as a sacred time set aside for intentional worship of God. The Creator has our best interests at heart, and he knows our tendency to neglect rest.

Some churches and communities sponsor annual disability ministry fairs and parties where they demonstrate the care and love of God. What events are important to remember in your life? How can you observe and celebrate these times?
