13:13-14 Patient Obedience Saul forfeited blessings that could have been his had he obeyed the Lord wholeheartedly and completely. Even in the face of apparent defeat—when things seem to be falling apart and nothing is going according to plan—the Lord calls us to continue to wait on him in patient obedience rather than usurp his place of honor and glory.
