19:10-13 Leave All in God’s Hands In difficult times, when terrible things seem inevitable, Joab’s approach to a difficult situation is a valuable example. Joab’s army was surrounded, so he made the best military decision he could and then encouraged his brother to be courageous and brave, saying “May the LORD’s will be done.” When we feel surrounded, we do well to make the best plans we can and then leave the outcome in the hands of our faithful God.
