56:4 Blessing People with Disabilities In ancient Israel, to be born or made a eunuch (especially in war) was a shameful disability, even to the point of exclusion from the community of God (Deut 23:1). But here we catch a glimpse of something new: The scope of salvation is so inclusive that God can bless people affected by disabilities without physically curing their impairments. Jesus personally enacts that redemption.
