10:12-13 A Way Out When facing difficult circumstances, it is tempting, and perhaps even understandable from the world’s perspective, to give in to despair. Paul reminds us that the temptations we face each day are common to everyone, and yet God remains faithful. When trials and temptations come, we can ask God to show us a way out so that we can endure.

10:15-17 Though We Are Many In Christ we are one body. As we partake of Communion, we are reminded through visible, tangible means that we are one with each other and with Christ. The church in Corinth was a diverse group—Jews and Gentiles, rich and poor—yet through Christ they were united. Only through Christ can we be united as one—all ages, all abilities, all socioeconomic statuses, and from every tongue and nation.
