3:3-4 Clothed in Beauty Disability often disqualifies a person from being considered lovely from a worldly perspective. But the beauty most precious to God is the inner beauty that anyone can cultivate. A “gentle and quiet spirit” grows from within but creates a beauty that lasts long after clear skin and attractive outfits fade.

3:15-16 A Gentle Witness When others watch us persevere in doing good, even in the midst of our suffering, they will wonder how we are able to do so. Their curiosity about what allows us to live in this way provides an open door for us to explain our hope in Christ in a compelling way.
