I t still feels unbelievably surreal to be sitting here typing out this closing chapter because, long story short, I truly never thought I would ever be able to have the opportunity

 

to have my very own book released.

 

It’s funny, because all throughout my days at elementary, middle, and high school, I was never the biggest reader. In fact, whenever one of my teachers would pull out a brand new book and announce that we were going to be reading it and analyzing the story and characters, I let out a sigh of defeat. These books never piqued my interest much.

 

But one day I remember picking up a copy of The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien and falling absolutely in love with it, which caused me to reflect and ponder the question “Do I actually dislike reading?”. The answer was one-hundred-percent no. All I had to do was find the stories that I genuinely wanted to read. I had to fall in love with characters I was more than willing to fall in love with.

 

These days, reading is an essential part of my life and I typically read about eighty books in any given calendar year. There’s
