A black dress flowing,

two apparitions fighting,

boobies exposing.

Breath of Paul

Wes searching for Paul

—a strange sound heard from behind—

breath like Darth Vader.

Angel of Darkness

Shadow wings above,

blood and bodies on the ground:

angel of darkness

Ghost Girls

Ghost hunters arrive,

cameras setup in bedrooms.

One girl sleeps all night.

~

Vodka

As clear as water,

caramel, chocolate, and cream

-flavored vodkas, yum.

~

Wolf

Moonrise over trees,

mansion guests searching for ghosts.

Wolf howl heard outside.

~

Poet

Man not a writer.

Man creates his first haiku.

Man now a poet.

~

Undead

Blood drips in her eye

—pain, agony, pale skin sheds—

undeath awaits her.

~

Poltergeist

Tension builds in air;

arm hair mystic’ly rises.

A poltergeist fades.

~

Broken Family

Silence in the woods—

distant scream: “Please don’t kill me!”

Mother kills father.

~

Did I See Something?

Woman brushing hair,

reflection in the mirror:

nothing to be seen.

Electric Ego

Walking down the stairs,

light flickers as he passes:

electric ego.

Imprinted Memories

Pulled by his left arm

face pressed against wooden post

drug under the bed.

Priestess casts out the spirit.

Memories last forever.
