DEBBIE LEVY is the author of children’s books and poetry. She has written about subjects ranging from sunken treasure to U.S. presidents, from the Vietnam War to the Berlin Wall. She used to be a lawyer and a newspaper editor before writing for children, and she’s glad she made the switch. In her free time, and even when she’s busy, Debbie likes to kayak and fish on the beautiful Wye River. She lives in Maryland, where she and her husband raised two sons, a dog, and a cat.
