1 c. sugar
1/2 c. baking cocoa
1/4 t. salt
5 c. water
2 c. milk
1 c. whipping cream
Garnish: marshmallows, whipped topping, crushed peppermint candies
Combine sugar, cocoa and salt in a medium saucepan; whisk in water. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved. Reduce heat to medium; add milk and cream. Heat through; keep warm over low heat. Serve topped with marshmallows or whipped topping and sprinkled with crushed peppermint candies.
