Ham for a Houseful

Makes about 16 servings

20-oz. can crushed pineapple, drained

1 c. brown sugar, packed

2 T. honey

1/2 T. dry mustard

1/2 t. ground cloves

4 to 5-lb. fully cooked boneless ham

Combine all ingredients except ham in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves, about 5 minutes. Stirring constantly, cook until liquid reduces and mixture thickens, about 10 more minutes; remove from heat to cool. Score surface of ham in a diamond pattern; insert meat thermometer into center of ham. Place ham in a roasting pan; cover and bake at 325 degrees for one hour. Uncover; spoon glaze over ham. Bake 45 minutes to one hour longer; or until meat thermometer reads 140 degrees; baste every 15 minutes with pan drippings.
